I'd really like to see it in place, but the biggest problem by far is paying attention to things. You'd be multitasking whilst walking or driving. Its hard enough trying to pay attention to your surroundings with an iPod in your ear, so this will be a handful. At least for some people.

"that display is clear and has no backlight" - It's screens on the glasses with cameras on the front. I think it'll take off faster than you predict but not sure how the mainstream market will react. Staying positive though.

I too look forward to the OLED technology becoming affordable, and I
expect it will be sooner than LCD will as LG predicts 2016 will be when the

I can get a Smart TV feature without buying a new TV though, with the new
Hopper multi-room HD DVR from my employer, DISH Network. It has the fastest processor available now,
750 MHz, so the possibilities of future released apps are fantastic. I’m really looking forward to having 250
hours of HD recording, the most in the industry right now. At least I have something to look forward to
if I can’t have an OLED TV anytime soon.

I'm pretty sure it's not a CG town - My take on this demo is that this is actually a one-way window (after all it's called the "Transparent Smart Window") with a screen bonded to the inside surface so you can see out but people can't see in or what you're looking at. The demo only has a model behind it so you can get an idea of what it would be like in your house. I remain to be convinced that people can't see the display if it's dark outside and what it would be like if the sun is shining at the window is another question.

It looks interesting.

I have a question. After I exported my video to 1080p using iMovie and Quicktime, I uploaded it to youtube. The maximum resolution available on my video is at 720p. It appears that all my videos have a maximum resolution on youtube that is one level below what I export it as using iMovie or Quicktime. Do you know why that is?

Thank you so much. I just got a Sony HX9V camera and have been racking my brain how to convert to 1080p. The only option I could find in Quicktime Player was to save as 720p. Thanks!!!!

This is necessary for Apple to complete the demand of the iPhone and iPad worldwide. Apple should need backup plan for the production problem. I don't think Foxconn will make this kind of mistake against.

Fabulous gift to the PC users from MIcrosoft!
The Kinect PC support SDK comes with so many features! Hope that makes working on PC more enjoyable. But little bit disappointed with that statement that most of that really cool stuff has absolutely nothing to do with playing video games. Expected more features which would make Xbox 360 video game more funny and interesting.
